Tap "Become a Provider" on the landing page or in the app. Fill in your service categories, skills, experience, and portfolio photos. Once approved, you can start receiving Reward Credits and bidding on auctions — at no upfront cost.

Payments & Settlements

When you confirm a booking, your payment is securely held by Xendit and is not released to the provider until you confirm the job is complete and satisfactory. This protects you from paying for work not done properly. If a dispute arises, funds remain in escrow until it is resolved.
Once the consumer confirms job completion, the amount appears in your Transaction Summary as "Pending Settlement." Tap "Request Payout" to initiate transfer to GCash, Maya, or your bank account. Processing takes 1–2 business days. Automatic release occurs within 48 hours if the consumer does not respond after a completion report is submitted.

Trust Score

The Trust Score is an AI-powered reputation rating (0–1000) assigned to every service provider. It is calculated based on completed jobs, consumer ratings, response time, dispute history, and verification status. Higher scores unlock better rankings, lower platform fees, and financial benefits.
New (0–199) — Probation, limited visibility · Basic (200–499) — Standard listing · Verified (500–699) — ₱10K loan access · Pro (700–899) — Priority search, ₱30K loan access · Elite (900–1000) — Top ranking, 5% fee discount, ₱50K loan access.

Booking & Bidding

Post your service request with a description, budget, and location. The AI generates a fair price benchmark instantly. Verified providers submit competitive bids. Review each bid alongside the provider's Trust Score, reviews, and portfolio — then select the best match. A smart contract is automatically created upon confirmation.
Reward Credits are earned by providers for completing jobs with high ratings, fast response times, and professional conduct. Credits are spent to participate in auction bidding. They cannot be purchased — only earned through performance. This ensures only committed, quality providers participate in auctions.

Disputes & Support

Navigate to the job and tap "Report an Issue." Describe the problem, attach photos, and submit. The support team reviews within 24 hours. During the dispute the escrow payment remains frozen. Target resolution time is 7 business days.
Your escrow payment will be fully refunded. The provider receives a significant Trust Score deduction and may be suspended. You can re-post your request immediately at no additional cost.

Account & Security

All personal data is handled in compliance with RA 10173 (Data Privacy Act) and regulated by the NPC. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell personal data to third parties. Contact dpo@nteksystems.com to exercise your data rights.

Terms of Service

Please read these Terms carefully before using the Gig Market mobile application or website. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. About Gig Market

Gig Market is operated by GigMarket., a corporation incorporated in the Philippines (a joint venture between XREATE Inc, Korea and ntek systems, Philippines). The platform operates as an online marketplace intermediary connecting service consumers with independent service providers. Gig Market is not an employer of service providers and does not itself perform any of the services listed on the platform.

All payment processing is handled by Xendit, a BSP-accredited payment gateway. Gig Market does not hold, store, or issue electronic money and operates in compliance with BSP guidelines applicable to non-EMI platforms.

2. Eligibility

To use Gig Market, you must be at least 18 years of age, a resident or registered business in the Philippines, capable of forming a legally binding contract under Philippine law, and not previously suspended or banned from the platform.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at service@gigmarket.ph if you suspect unauthorized access. Each individual may hold only one (1) account per user role. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent platform rules is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent suspension.

4. Service Transactions & Smart Contracts

When a consumer confirms a booking, a legally binding digital service agreement (Smart Contract) is automatically generated under Republic Act 8792 (E-Commerce Act of the Philippines). Both parties are bound by this contract from the moment of confirmation.

The consumer's service payment is held in escrow by Xendit and released to the provider only upon the consumer's confirmation of satisfactory job completion, or automatically after 48 hours if the consumer does not respond following a completion report submission.

5. Trust Score & Reward Credits

The Trust Score (0–1000) is Gig Market's proprietary AI-driven reputation system calculated based on job completion rates, consumer ratings, response time, and platform conduct. Gig Market reserves the right to adjust Trust Score methodology at any time.

Reward Credits are earned through platform performance and used to place bids in the auction system. Credits have no monetary value, cannot be purchased, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

6. Prohibited Activities

Users agree not to engage in any of the following:

  • Providing false information during registration or in service listings
  • Conducting transactions outside the platform to circumvent escrow protections
  • Harassment, threats, or abusive conduct toward other users
  • Posting fraudulent service listings or fake reviews
  • Attempting to manipulate the Trust Score or Reward Credits system
  • Using the platform for any illegal activity under Philippine law

7. Dispute Resolution

Gig Market provides a built-in dispute resolution mechanism. Users must first attempt resolution through the in-app dispute system. Gig Market's decision following review is final for purposes of escrow release. For unresolved disputes, the parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of Philippine courts, with venue in Metro Manila.

8. Limitation of Liability

Gig Market acts as a marketplace intermediary only. We are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of services offered by providers. Our maximum aggregate liability to any user shall not exceed the total platform fees paid by that user in the preceding three (3) months.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Metro Manila, Philippines.

10. Amendments

Gig Market reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of material changes via in-app notification and email at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

We do not collect financial account numbers or card details. All payment processing is handled directly by Xendit.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Xendit — for payment processing and escrow management
  • Semaphore — for OTP SMS delivery
  • Amazon Web Services — for secure cloud hosting and storage
  • Firebase / OneSignal — for push notification delivery
  • Regulatory authorities — as required by Philippine law (BSP, NPC, SEC)

4. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. Account data is retained for a minimum of 5 years after account closure for financial and regulatory compliance. You may request deletion of non-essential data at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.

5. Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under RA 10173, you have the following rights:

6. Cookies & Analytics

The Gig Market website uses essential cookies only for session management. We do not use third-party advertising or behavioral tracking cookies. Analytics are collected in aggregate, anonymized form.

7. Security

We implement TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security audits. All infrastructure is hosted on AWS. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and the NPC within 72 hours.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will revise the "Last updated" date and notify users via in-app notification for material changes.
